Hi, I’m Brenda Garvin
Welcome to Empyreal Evolution

About

Passionate about astrology since age 12, I embarked on a diverse career path as a Project Manager. However, astrology's allure persisted, leading me to deepen my expertise through Soul Source, NCGR, and Kepler College. Now, I offer insights gained from navigating life's twists and turns, embracing astrology as a tool for understanding and empowerment.

My mission

I am here to share my passion for astrology with you. Astrology has the power to illuminate your path, reveal your innate strengths and challenges, and guide you towards a more conscious and authentic life.

Let's work together to uncover how astrology can assist you in understanding your energetic blueprint, navigating life's challenges as opportunities for growth, and embracing a more graceful and authentic existence.

I would love to guide you as you embark on this transformative journey.

Full story

When I was 12 years old and discovered Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs, I recognized the profound impact astrology could have on shaping my worldview and understanding of life. It was at that moment I knew I wanted to become an astrologer.

My parents on the other hand both Air signs (air signs are all about the mind, learning, education), while approving astrology as an interest, did not see it as a true profession. So off to college I went.

I earned a BA in Political Science from Rutgers,  attended LaSalle for an MA in Secondary Education.  But I knew this was not my calling. So, I dropped out and embarked on a  37 year career as a Project Manager, but astrology never left me, in fact its calling grew louder.

So, I sought out opportunities to deepen my knowledge and expertise.

  • Joining Soul Source (a Swarthmore, PA based Meditative/Counseling Consortium, which offered support and guidance in a myriad of modalities in order to bring one into greater connection with Soul.)

  • Becoming a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of NCGR (National Council for Geocosmic Research),

  • Earning two extended certifications from Kepler College.

    • One in Natal Astrology

    • and a Second in Predictive/Movement.

But it's essential to acknowledge... I'm profoundly grateful for heeding my parents' guidance. Their insights led me to pursue education, acquire marketable skills, and grasp the seemingly sobering reality that while money doesn't buy happiness, it facilitates navigating life successfully. This mind set is very prevalent amongst great depression babies, which both my parents were.

However, in truth we always have a choice. Sometimes the choice is simply changing our perspective.

But at the age of 32 , the thought of financial stability, had been what supported me in my decision to leave an unhealthy marriage, and helped me to more easily embrace the thought of single motherhood, with the ability to provided a stable, yet thriving home environment for myself and my son.

However, at 59 as transiting Pluto became conjunct with my natal Venus and South Node, it had a transformative influence on my perception of “true value; true worth.”

Hmmmm? This is exactly what I would love to share with you.

In other words,

As Pluto, the planet of death/rebirth/ transformation became a room mate with my Venus, planet of finances/relationships/self worth and my South Node, a point of release, it transformed my view of money, relationships and their true value.

The feeling of financial or interpersonal security gained from enduring noxious environments or nonmutually caring relationships no longer felt worth the emotional, psychological, and physical toll.

That juice no longer seemed worth the squeeze.

Realizing this, I gathered the courage to embark on early semi-retirement, and began in engaging with life not as a problem to be solved but as a mystery to be lived!

And now, here we are together, forever blooming. Always Keeping in Mind: No Mud; No Lotus.
